Propagation For The Cut Flower Garden: Collecting Seed

Collected seed is an economical and reliable source of material for propagation. During this session, we’ll spend part of the morning in the fields showing you when seed is ripe and ready to harvest. You will then have the chance to collect seeds from our cut flower fields to take home. We will show you how to clean, package and store samples to maintain viability.

13 September 2024

The morning will run from 10am – 1pm. Refreshments will be available.

This meeting forms part of our wider range of courses, Propagation For The Cut Flower Garden. Over this series, we will introduce you to propagation over a flower farmer’s year. Sessions can be bought individually or you can attend the complete range over the growing season. The other sessions within this course are: Seed Sowing, Dahlias and Taking Cuttings. If you would like to attend the whole course, please add your four chosen sessions to your basket and then enter the coupon code PROPAGATION24 to receive a 10% discount on your booking.
