Propagation For The Cut Flower Garden: Collecting Seed

Collected seed is an economical and reliable source of material for propagation. During this session, we’ll spend part of the morning in the fields showing you when seed is ripe and ready to harvest. You will then have the chance to collect seeds from our cut flower fields to take home. We will show you how to clean, package and store samples to maintain viability.

This meeting forms part of our wider range of courses, Propagation For The Cut Flower Garden. Over this series, we will introduce you to propagation over a flower farmer’s year.
